A Playground for the Whole Family...

The homeowners purchased the "derelict house" next door and we helped transform the property into a warm, comfortable place to gather. We created safety and security for the family as well as comfort in the form of a large outdoor pavilion with a TV to watch the game. A full basketball court was installed along with a playground for the kids.

The importance of “curb appeal”...

Greg worked with developer Andy Railla to not only design and install the landscape but also to assist in the design of this Pacific Palisades home.  This case study shows that landscape is not separate from the house; it’s all one design element.  As Andy states, “I want to make sure my house looks good in Greg’s landscape”.  Greg focussed on “curb appeal” to not only make the house fit into the neighborhood, but also to make it immediately attractive to a potential buyer driving past.

Turning a yard into part of a life...

Leslie Sacks is an art dealer from South Africa with an incredibly large  collection, and an incredibly barren hillside.  He chose Greg Davis to transform acres of unused land into an oasis for meditation and relaxation.  Using the concept of “borrowed landscape”, Greg was able to extend Leslie’s outdoor living space to the limits of his imagination.

My Private Space...

Robbie Smith is the founding pastor, along with her late husband, O.C. Smith, of a church in Los Angeles.  She hired Greg Davis to provide the interior landscaping to create a comforting environment for over 1,200 people who pray there.  The project was so successful that she hired Greg to bring his talents to her home, and integrate her African art into her outdoor living space.
